These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StaffMargin (the "Service"), operated by Magmabajt DOOEL, a limited company registered inNorth Macedonia under company number 7399375, with its registered office at Ul. Pando Kljashev br. 66 - 003V ("StaffMargin", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
StaffMargin is a software-as-a-service application that calculates and reports profit margin on employees, projects, clients and partners across countries and currencies. It is a reporting and analytics layer. It is not a payroll, invoicing, accounting, tax or employer-of-record service, and its outputs are estimates to inform your decisions, not financial, legal or tax advice.
2. Who you are contracting with for payment
Our order process and payments are handled by Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record (the authorised reseller) for all purchases of paid plans. When you buy a subscription, Paddle is the seller of record for that transaction and your purchase is also subject toPaddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle handles billing, payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT. Your use of the Service itself is governed by these Terms.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for your team members' use of the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind your organisation.
4. Your data and your responsibilities
To use StaffMargin you upload data about your business, including employee, salary, cost, client and project information ("Customer Data"). You retain all rights to Customer Data. You grant us a limited licence to process it only to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis and any necessary consents to upload personal data of your employees and contacts, and for the accuracy of what you enter. How we handle personal data is described in ourPrivacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights when using the Service,
- upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or probe or disrupt the Service,
- resell, sublicense or copy the Service except as these Terms allow,
- reverse engineer the Service except to the extent the law permits.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Paddle until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content, belongs to StaffMargin and its licensors. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active. We may use aggregated, anonymised data that does not identify you or any individual to operate and improve the Service.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of calculations. You are responsible for verifying figures before relying on them for financial decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StaffMargin is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. On termination your right to use the Service ends. You can export Customer Data before your account closes, and we delete or anonymise it as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, and the courts ofNorth Macedonia have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
